PIXLIP EXPO - Brace assembly
Quick overview
The longer or taller your Lightbox, the more important stable reinforcements become. For lengths of 2 m or more, braces are recommended to prevent the aluminum profiles from sagging and to keep the print taut over time. PIXLIP EXPO braces provide exactly this stability - tool-free, flexible, and robust.
Scope of delivery and preparation
Before you start, lay out all the parts in an orderly manner. The brace set contains:
- 2 brace feet color-coded (gray and white)
- Matching adapters for the middle, wider groove
- Locks per side
Step-by-step assembly
-
Inserting the brace foot
Take a brace foot, insert it into the brace, and click the lock onto the side. Make sure they fit together.
-
Choosing the adapter
You need the adapter when the brace is to go into the middle, wider groove. No adapter is needed for outer grooves or anchoring in another brace.
-
Determining the position
Only one side illuminated → choose the outer groove. - Both sides illuminated → choose the middle groove.
-
Insert the brace into the groove
Insert the brace into the groove, do the same at the top, turn it a quarter turn, and the brace is securely in place.
-
Inserting the adapter (middle groove)
Fit the color-matched adapter, turn it 90°, insert it, and turn it another 90° until it locks into place.
-
Connecting braces
When connecting horizontal and vertical braces, adjust the vertical brace to the length of the horizontal brace, insert the adapter, twist it in, and tighten it.
