Why should I order a PIXLIP sample before my project?
With a PIXLIP sample, you can assess the material, craftsmanship, colors, and print quality under realistic conditions. This gives you greater confidence in your planning and helps you choose the right system or printing method before placing a larger order.
Which PIXLIP pattern is right for my project?
If you’d like to assess the frame, lighting, and print together, a lightbox sample is the right choice. For a focused comparison of material and print quality, our fabric samples are ideal. If you have specific requirements, our experts will be happy to help you choose.
What is the difference between a lightbox pattern and a textile pattern?
A lightbox sample shows how the frame, LED lighting, and printed fabric work together. A fabric sample focuses on texture, color reproduction, detail quality, and printing method. Which sample makes more sense depends on which features you want to evaluate beforehand.
What is the difference between UV printing and sublimation printing?
With UV printing, the ink sits on the surface of the material, enabling precise, detailed reproduction. With sublimation printing, the ink penetrates the textile fibers, creating vivid, durable colors. You can compare both results directly using the corresponding print samples.
Can I order a PIXLIP pattern with my own design?
For print samples marked accordingly, you can provide your own design. This lets you assess not only the material, but also the colors, details, and impact of your specific design. Our team can help with any questions about print files and production.
Does the sample reflect the quality of the final product?
The samples are designed to give you the most realistic possible impression of the material, print and light quality. The exact effect may vary depending on the image, format, viewing distance and location. We’d be happy to review your requirements together and advise you on the right option.
What should I look for when evaluating a pattern?
Check the pattern under different lighting conditions and from various viewing distances. Pay particular attention to color reproduction, detail rendering, tactile quality, surface appearance and - for illuminated patterns - the evenness of the lighting.
How does ordering a personalized sample work?
First, choose the sample product that suits you. If personalization is available, submit your print data afterward. Once it has been reviewed and approved, your personalized sample will be produced and shipped to you.
How long does delivery of a PIXLIP sample take?
You can find the current delivery time directly on the relevant product page. For personalized print samples, production time begins as soon as the final, print-ready files are available. If you need to meet a specific deadline, you can contact our team before placing your order.
