PIXLIP EXPO 90° L-connector
Overview
Corner solutions are essential for a clean, professional appearance at trade show booths and modular displays. With the PIXLIP EXPO 90° L-connector, two lightbox frames can be joined into a stable, flush corner without additional tools. The result is quick to assemble, robust, and ready for use.
Package contents and preparation
Before you start, lay out all the parts in an organized manner. What you need:
- PIXLIP EXPO L-connector
- Threaded screws
- L-connectors
- Nuts
- PIXLIP key
- 2 lightbox frames
Step-by-step assembly
-
Preparing the fastening
Screw the threaded screws into the L-connectors. Make sure to use the side with the Use the shorter thread first. This ensures a clean connection later.
-
Prepare the first frame
– Insert the screw through the system hole of the first frame.
– On the other side, secure with a nut and tighten by hand.
– Repeat the process at the top of the frame.
Note: Hand-tight means not tightening the connection completely yet. There should be enough play to make fine adjustments later.
-
Slide on the second frame and secure it provisionally
Slide the second frame onto the L-connector and insert the screws through the matching system holes. The EXPO system ensures that the holes align precisely. Here too, initially tighten only provisionally, check the alignment, and correct it if necessary, until the frame and connector are flush.
-
Final tightening
When everything is correctly positioned, use the PIXLIP key to secure the connection fully to secure it. The corner is now stable and ready for use.
-
Alternative mounting method (when lightboxes are already positioned at a corner)
Prepare the L-connector with just one screw and mount it on one side.
Insert the screw through the system hole of the other lightbox and screw it into the L-connector.
Tighten with the nut, then fully tighten with the PIXLIP key.
