Frequently Asked Questions – EXPO Cube LED

Questions about connectors, profiles, and assembly—find answers about the PIXLIP EXPO system here.

Why does a PIXLIP EXPO Cube have a different LED than the EXPO Lightbox?

The construction of an EXPO cube and an EXPO lightbox is fundamentally different. While the LED modules in an EXPO lightbox are inserted into the profile and must backlight up to two fabric sides, the EXPO cube LED is suspended in the center of the cube and backlights up to 5 cube sides simultaneously.

Do you always need a suspension kit?

No, a suspension kit is always required when the Kubus itself is suspended from the ceiling; the lower textile can then also be backlit. If the Kubus is placed on the floor, the KUBUS LED can also be placed on the floor.

Is the KUBUS LED easy to retrofit?

Yes, the suspension kit enables quick, tool-free retrofitting—perfectly matched to the modular EXPO system.
