PIXLIP V-CUT CONNECTOR - Assembly

Quick overview

The PIXLIP EXPO V-Cut connector allows you to connect multiple aluminum profiles into one large lightbox - stable, flexible, and without the need for complex tools. The method is perfect for modular trade fair booths, corner solutions, and customized booth design.

Package contents and preparation

Before you start, lay out all the parts in an organized manner. Required parts

  • Aluminum V-Cut
  • Longitudinal connector with screws
  • Longitudinal connector without screws
  • Aluminum profiles (to be extended or connected)

Step-by-step assembly

  1. Prepare the connector
First assemble the components of the VC system. Slide one longitudinal connector with screws and one without screws into the aluminum V-Cut. Initially tighten the middle screw by hand and repeat the step on the other side.

  2. Slide the connector into the existing frame
Slide the prepared connector into the frame profile that has already been assembled. Then position the aluminum profile to be installed and extended, and check the fit. Once everything is aligned, tighten the screws.

  3. Prepare the upper profile (Makes overhead work easier)
Before continuing at the top, place the VCD connector onto the aluminum profile to be installed. This saves unnecessary fiddling later when you have to work overhead.

  4. Insert and lock the brace
Insert a brace to support the profile during assembly. Then insert the male connector (meaning the VC connector prepared earlier) and lock the brace so that the profile is secured.

  5. Fine adjustment and final tightening
Adjust everything into place, check the alignment, and fully tighten the screws. Make sure the profile and connector are flush against each other.
