Responsibility at PIXLIP: Sustainable Product Development by Design
At PIXLIP, we take responsibility—ecologically, economically, and socially. Our environmental and quality management, as well as the sustainable and socially responsible orientation of our entire supply chain, are central components of our certified sustainability concept.
PIXLIP products are characterized by durable materials, energy-efficient LED technology, and resource-conserving manufacturing processes. Thanks to the simple graphic change and modular system architecture, the lifespan of each illuminated frame is significantly extended. Our high production quality and continuous product development actively contribute to environmental protection and CO₂ reduction—for sustainable exhibition systems with a future.

100% PET recycling for 100% visibility
Since 2022, we have produced our backlit textile prints exclusively from recycled PET yarn made from used plastic bottles. This actively helps us reduce plastic waste, lower energy consumption during material production, and contribute to CO₂ reduction.

Lighting system
Rising energy costs and growing environmental awareness are driving the transition to LED technology. It offers low power consumption and significantly reduced CO₂ emissions. Our mercury-free, recyclable LED components can be disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
Because no UV or infrared radiation is emitted, materials such as plastics and paints remain undamaged. LED lighting is long-lasting, safe, and resource-efficient—ideal for private and commercial applications.
Anyone looking to save energy while protecting the environment and conserving resources is making a sustainable choice with modern LED technology.

Reusability
All PIXLIP products impress with their long service life, based on consistent quality standards and a practical textile replacement system.
Our GO and PX systems are modular, flexibly expandable, and versatile to combine. This makes them ideally suited for reuse and sustainable use—perfect for changing applications in trade fairs and presentation environments.

Recycled aluminum
Over 80% of our products consist of more than one-third high-quality recycled aluminum. Compared with primary aluminum production, the recycled material saves up to 95% in energy while maintaining the same material quality. Our supplier is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 with Corrigendum 1:2009 and is located in the immediate vicinity of our production site.
Short transport routes reduce emissions and strengthen our environmentally friendly, regional supply chain. In this way, we combine quality, resource conservation, and efficient logistics to create a future-ready production model.

Packaging system
Our packaging design is completely plastic-free. The boxes used are made from 100% recycled waste paper and provide a sturdy, environmentally friendly solution for transportation and storage.
By using lightweight aluminum profiles, we significantly reduce the packaging weight, which lowers CO₂ emissions throughout the shipping process. Sustainability, protection, and efficiency go hand in hand.
With resource-saving materials, we create a modern packaging solution that meets both ecological and logistical requirements.

Recycling Bags
Instead of disposing of textile waste, we hand over sorted-out prints to a regional sewing workshop. There, useful promotional items such as bags and pouches are made from the old fabrics. In this way, we not only give used materials a second life but also actively promote recycling as part of sustainable brand communication.
Our customers have the opportunity to return their used textile prints for a meaningful purpose and become part of a responsible recycling cycle.

Social Engagement
As a company, we are naturally also committed to charitable projects in our local area. It is particularly important to us to work with local workshops where people with physical disabilities are employed and paid. We also primarily support the Cologne-based Paria Foundation, which uses experiential education and play-based activities to help children, young people, and families in particularly difficult circumstances. An important part of its work involves coping with grief and trauma following the loss of a loved one or traumatic experiences such as fleeing or violence. For many years, the foundation has also been active in inclusive sports.

Work Life Balance
Our employees play a crucial role in the overall success of our company. We can only operate profitably in the long term if they feel comfortable. That is why treating one another responsibly is a matter of course for us. It encompasses every aspect of daily working life:

Family
Balancing family and career is a key concern for many employees. That is why we offer flexible working models such as remote work and part-time work to best support individual life situations.
Advance through continuing education
We specifically support the personal and professional development of our team. Anyone who decides to pursue a part-time degree or further vocational training receives not only financial support but also assistance with the organizational arrangements. This creates room for growth—both professionally and personally.

Feel good
Our employees spend a large part of their everyday lives at work. We want them to feel comfortable here, so we have created an open office environment that makes this possible. The entire office furnishings were developed and designed in collaboration with our colleagues and are based on our lighting systems. During breaks, our employees can enjoy the sun on the terrace, let off steam on the punching bag, or cook up a meal in the large kitchen. We also aim to promote a sense of community through company and summer parties, Christmas celebrations, and group water-skiing trips.

Health
The health of our employees is also important to us. Regular safety training and first-aid courses are therefore mandatory. In addition, a free Pilates session is offered once a week, primarily to improve mobility in the aching backs of our office staff. Ergonomic chairs and exercise balls, as well as height-adjustable desks, are also available.
